BENJAMIN BRATT SNOOKERED AT TOURIST TRAP

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Benjamin Bratt may outwit Martians in his new flick, "Red Planet" -- but he's still learning how to outwit rip-off artists. That's according to actor Nestor Serrano, who co-stars with Bratt in the upcoming film "After the Storm." Serrano says while they were shooting the flick in Belize, Bratt advised him to avoid certain local merchants who were selling wooden trinkets that were actually cheap rip-offs. So he took Serrano to another vendor and told him "This is the one who has the real stuff." Serrano says he was shocked after he plunked down $200 for an 18-inch-long shark figurine that he later learned was a worthless hunk of plastic. Now, he's using the fake shark as a doorstop and says he and Bratt's days as shopping buddies are over.
