HEMORRHOIDS INSPIRES MAN TO INVENT PORTABLE BIDET

NOVATO, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Think hemorrhoids are a pain in the rump? Maybe, but they've given a California man a kick in the pants to invent the world's first portable bottom washer. Inventor John Bernard says a bad case of hemorrhoids forced him to find a way to clean his behind without using toilet paper -- so the 50 year old invented the "Q-Lav," a plastic jug that fits between a person's thighs and squirts five cups of water between the cheeks. Bernard claims his product reduces toilet paper consumption by 50 percent. Although he isn't excited about his invention becoming the butt of jokes, Bernard says he's willing to turn the other cheek if it helps sales.
