STUDY RANKS BEST AND WORST TV DADS

WASHINGTON (Wireless Flash) -- A new study concludes TV dads have gone way down the tubes since the days of "Father Knows Best." The National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI) reviewed every prime time show on network TV today and rated them based on how well they portray dads. At the bottom of the barrel is the Fox show "Titus," which is called the "worst example" of fatherhood on TV. NFI president Wade F. Horn says the dad on "Titus" shows the most horrendous parenting skills imaginable and "...constantly cuts away at his children's self-esteem by treating them as hindrances to his busy schedule of partying and womanizing." At the other end, NBC's recently-dumped "Daddio" provided the best portrayal of fathers on TV because the main character works hard to take care of his kids and is deeply involved in their lives.
