BLISTERING NEWS ABOUT FRICTION-FREE SOCKS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Teflon is moving out of the frying pan and into your socks. A New York-based company is taking the same Teflon technology that keeps scrambled eggs from sticking to your cookware and applying it to socks to prevent blisters. A spokeswoman for Friction Free Technologies claims the frictionless fibers woven into the toe and heel of its new line of socks prevent excessive rubbing which can cause blisters. The company claims the Teflon socks will also last twice as long as a normal pair of socks.
