ELECTION LEAVING GOOD IMPRESSION ON IMPRESSIONISTS

COZUMEL, N.M. (Wireless Flash) -- The Florida recount may be bad for America but it's been great for impressionist Fred Travalena. The entertainer says the election antics have supplied him with a mother lode of comedy material that he plans to mine for another six months. In past presidential elections, voters forget the losing candidate immediately. But Travalena says the close vote count means that he can continue imitating both Al Gore and George W. Bush even after a winner is declared. He also admits this political problem isn't as vulgar as the Monica Lewinsky scandal, which was difficult to joke about in front of family audiences. Travalena has just released "The Manhattan Christmas Suite," a musical tribute to New York City.
