Researchers are already testing different methods of cloning Christmas trees, and the process should be mainstream within 10 years. According to the National Christmas Tree Association, the best candidates for cloning are fast-growing, dark green to blue-colored trees with lots of buds and branches to hold Christmas ornaments.
