FROZEN VEGGIES INSPIRE TREATMENT FOR HOT FLASHES

CORONA, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- They say necessity is the mother of invention -- but for one woman in California it's frozen veggies. Missy Peay is the inventor of the "HotStop" -- a gel- filled cold pack that's supposed to relieve a woman's hot flashes when applied to the neck. The 54-year-old preacher's wife says she was inspired to create the device after she tried to subdue her own hot flashes by placing a bag of frozen peas on her neck. Peay claims her new gadget can stop hot flashes in as little as 4.5 minutes.
