WERNER KLEMPERER'S FINAL SECRET

WERNER KLEMPERER'S FINAL SECRET

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Colonel Klink may have taken a shocking secret to the grave: The identity of the murderer of "Hogan's Heroes" star Bob Crane. Shortly before actor Werner Klemperer died last week, the 80 year old told gossip reporter Baird Jones that Crane's 1978 murder was committed by the husband of a woman who had engaged in kinky sex with Crane. Klemperer claimed Crane "had a major S & M problem" and would often show up on the set "bruised and exhausted" from the previous night's festivities. Although Crane's friend, video technician Joe Henry, was tried for the murder, he was acquitted in 1994 and the murder still remains a mystery.
