TEEN IDOL ALERT: VIRGINIA TEEN NAMED `BOY OF THE YEAR'

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Wireless Flash) -- The Backstreet Boys better move over -- there's a new teen idol on their turf. Teen girls have just elected a 15-year-old from Virginia as the "Boy Crazy! Boy of the Year." Virginia Beach 9th grader Tony Rhodes was picked from a group of 363 American boys who appear on trading cards for a game called "Boy Crazy." Tony says some kids at his school seem to be a little jealous of him for winning the grand prize of a Volkswagen Beetle, a $10,000 scholarship and a modeling contract. But he's keeping his ego in check and says he looks forward to using the prize money to go to cooking school because his ultimate goal is to become a chef, not a teen heartthrob.
