CLEAN YOUR HOUSE WITH LEFTOVER CHAMPAGNE

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. (Wireless Flash) -- Why toss out leftover champagne from this weekend's New Year's Eve parties when it can be used to clean your house. According to housekeeping guru Heloise, leftover champagne is good for cleaning mirrors, windows and stainless steel sullied by wild New Year's festivities. However she says dry champagne is a better cleaner than the sweet kind, which is only good for cleaning stainless steel. If turning wine into Windex isn't enough for you, just save the leftover champagne bottles. Heloise claims they make lovely cremation urns. In fact, when she kicks the ice bucket, she'll says she'll have her ashes poured into a magnum of her favorite champagne, Louis Roederer Cristal. Heloise discusses champagne cleaning tips in her new book, "In The Kitchen With Heloise" (Perigee).
