THE STRAIGHT POOP ON WATCHING TV IN THE TOILET

CARMICHAEL, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Thinking of putting a TV set in your bathroom so you won't miss a minute of the Super Bowl? Then be prepared to have a draining experience. According to well-known colon hydrotherapist Melanie Manning, watching TV while sitting on the can may cause hemorrhoids. She says toilet TV watchers may feel compelled to stay on the pot longer than necessary to watch the end of a game play -- and that extra time on the seat increases the chances of developing hemorrhoids. However, Manning admits TV watching on the toilet is preferable to rushing yourself through a bowel movement during commercial breaks.
