AUSSIE PUB CRAWLERS START POLITICAL PARTY

KALGOORLIE, Western Australia (Wireless Flash) -- You've heard of being driven to drink? Well, political correctness has driven some Aussie drinkers into the political arena. 22-year-old Duncan Griffin -- a gold miner in Western Australia -- has just formed the "Australians Against Wowsers Party," a pro-pub political group. The group is mainly protesting "Wowsers," which, in Griffin's words, are "People who tell you how to live your life without knowing how themselves." The party's platform is one Homer Simpson could support: No speed limits, no beer taxes and an increase in bars featuring scantily-clad waitresses. The group has only been around for a few weeks, but insiders say the platform is quickly catching on with locals sick of political correctness.
