LONDON DO-GOODERS AIM TO `UPGRADE' THE HOMELESS

LONDON (Wireless Flash) -- You've heard of upgrading your computer. Now a group of Londoners want to upgrade the homeless. The operators of a website called DoBe.org have just sent a letter to the mayor of London recommending the government give panhandlers free accordions and barrel organs to turn them into street musicians. A group spokesman claims by upgrading beggars to street musicians, people will be more likely to give them money which would help them get off the streets. The group also wants a foot bridge that now runs across the Thames River to be re-engineered so it becomes wobbly and as famous as the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
