LEON SPINKS TO COURT SUPPORT OF TV JUDGE

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) -- Former heavyweight boxer Leon Spinks will be trying to court the support of a TV judge later today. The 47-year-old boxer will appear on the syndicated TV show, Judge Mathis, in the hopes of winning a nearly $1800 appearance fee he claims he's owed. The show was taped a few weeks ago and while Spinks can't reveal the verdict, he admits the show's judge, Greg Mathis, kept asking, "Where are your teeth?" These days Spinks is also giving boxing tips to his son, Cory, an up-and-coming welterweight. His top tip? "Lay off sex a week or two before a fight."
