TEXAS WOMAN HOPES TO ROPE IN YETI

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. (Wireless Flash) -- No one's found a real Yeti yet -- but a Texas woman hopes to change things this spring. San Antonio journalist Catherine Cooke will be traveling to Nepal in April in the hopes of finding the abominable snowman. Other than a few footprints and an alleged severed finger, yeti artifacts are hard to find, which is why some explorers think the creature is just a snowjob to increase tourism to Nepal. Cooke says if she runs into the creature, she won't shoot it with anything but a camera but admits she'd love to get some hard physical evidence in her hands -- even frozen yeti poop. Yeti-chasing's not for everyone but it's in Cooke's blood: Her uncle was explorer Tom Slick, who searched for the hairy creature back in the mid-1950s.
