AROMATHERAPY GOES TO THE DOGS

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) – Aromatherapy is going to the dogs thanks to a New York aromatherapist. Kristen Leigh Bell is the creator of the first commercial line of aromatherapy products for dogs. The canine concoctions include a lavender scented balm, called “Boo Boo Juice,” which is good for a dog’s skin. There’s also scented pooch products for maladies like stinky breath, motion sickness and even anxiety. They all smell good to humans, too, but Bell doesn’t foresee making any products with the one scent dogs seem to love best – another dog’s rump. That’s because she doesn’t think she can recreate that scent using plant oils.
