SEARCH IS ON FOR THE WORLD’S MOST BEAUTIFUL FEET

TEANECK, N.J. (Wireless Flash) – Most beauty contests focus on faces, but one competition plans to zoom in a little lower. Birkenstock shoes and a website called foot.com are looking for the world’s most beautiful feet and want folks from all over to step up to the challenge. Judges are seeking feet that have a nice arch and no visible ulcers, bunions or corns – although freckles, moles and toe hair are acceptable. Ten finalists will have their foot photos posted at foot.com in August, and online voters can pick the No. 1 pair of clodhoppers. There will also be a consolation prize handed out to the competitor “Most in Need of a Pedicure.” Besides winning a trip to Acapulco, the owner of the top tootsies will get a foot photo session intended to help them get a toehold in professional foot modeling.
