KIDS REALLY STICK THEIR FOOT IN IT
DALLAS (Wireless Flash) A Texas P.E. teacher is taking steps to protect kids safety with a new ID card that fits into their shoes. The so-called Medi-Kid Safety Insole is similar to those Med- Alert bracelets except its an insole that fits in the shoe. The insole contains a photograph of the wearer and other data such as whether the individual is allergic to certain medicines and an emergency number to call. Inventor Thomas Martin says the insoles are also a good idea for people who dont regularly carry IDs, such as joggers, Alzheimers patients or the mentally handicapped. The shoe inserts sell for $12.99 at safetyatyourfeet.com.
