U2 FANS CALL FOR BOYCOTT OF CURRENT TOUR

SAN JOSE, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – An organization that claims to fight for the rights of music fans is calling for a boycott of rock group U2’s current tour. The group – called “The Fan’s Final Say” – is accusing U2 of price-gouging and mismanaging online ticket sales. Group founder Vaus D. Aslaun says he’s furious the rock band is charging over $100 for general admission tickets and releasing priority online ticket purchasing codes to the general public instead of hardcore fans. Aslaun is asking fans not to attend any of the concerts which are scheduled through the end of summer and says he wants recognition by the band that their fans are unhappy. U2’s management couldn’t be reached for comment.
