NEVER-SEEN MARILYN MONROE COLLECTIBLES TO GO ON DISPLAY

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – June 1 marks what would have been Marilyn Monroe’s 75th birthday and the day should be a “clothes” call for fashion buffs. The Hollywood Entertainment Museum is celebrating the buxom blonde’s birthday by displaying never before-seen memorabilia including movie costumes once worn by Monroe. Some of the scanty items seeing the light of day for the first time in years will include a brown strapless evening gown worn in the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and the pink gown worn for “Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend.” The “Happy Birthday, Marilyn” display is owned by several private collectors and will remain on display until August 15.
