WILL ‘WEAKEST LINK’ GET A SHRINK?

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Contestants who fail on the new NBC game show, The Weakest Link, could soon be getting free psychotherapy. A website called keen.com is offering free “self esteem” therapy to all losing contestants to help them overcome the anger and frustration of being dumped. Counselor Dr. Eduvigis Cruz-Arrieta worries that show contestants will suffer from what she calls “Post-Link Depression” if they don’t discuss their anguish with a trained professional. The doc says she’ll remind Link losers that they had to be smart to get on the show in the first place and that some contestants get kicked off because their brains are a threat to others. Dr. Cruz-Arrieta is making the same free therapy offer to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Survivor losers.
