SNOOPY TO LEAVE HIS MARK ON POSTAGE

WASHINGTON (Wireless Flash) – Snoopy is stamping his way into history – the Peanuts mascot is getting his own postage stamp. Next week the U.S. Postal Service will unveil the first-ever postage stamp to feature the cartoon pooch – the first character from the Peanuts cartoon strip to receive the honor. The Snoopy stamp will feature the famous mutt clad in flight goggles and cap while sitting atop his doghouse. Fans will be able to pick up the new stamp in post offices starting May 18.
