17-YEAR-OLD NAMED BEST TEEN CHEF IN AMERICA
RIVERSIDE, Ill. (Wireless Flash) A high school student and master mechanic may soon be turning up the heat on Wolfgang Puck. 17-year-old Anthony Tabb has just been awarded the title of Best Teen Chef in America, and hes setting his sights on owning his own restaurant. Tabb won the award and a full scholarship to the Illinois Institute of Art after wowing the taste buds of judges in Atlanta with his tenderloin of beef, crab cakes and caesar salad. Besides being a champion chef, Tabb is also a part-time body shop mechanic. He says he and some friends once tried cooking hot dogs on a car engine, but the wieners came out tasting too much like motor oil.
