COLLEGE STUDENTS TO GET DRUNK FOR SCIENCE

NEW ORLEANS (Wireless Flash) – A scientific experiment taking place next month in New Orleans will feel more like a party for the participants. Tulane University is recruiting 50 med students to booze it up in the name of science in order to test a new herbal hangover remedy. Lead investigator Dr. Jeffrey Wiese says the student volunteers will be treated to a BBQ dinner and be required to consume 4 to 5 drinks of either beer or hard liquor. Half of the soused students will be given the new hangover pill which contains an extract of prickly pear, while the other half will receive a placebo. The next morning, researchers will study the students to see who has hangovers and who doesn’t. If getting blasted in the name of science sounds fun to you, sorry, it’s too late: Dr. Wiese says he has all the volunteers he needs.
