WONDER WOMAN STUNT DOUBLE WANTS ‘XENA’ IN ROLE

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – Lynda Carter’s stunt double from the old Wonder Woman TV show is naming her choice to fill the superheroine’s boots: Xena star Lucy Lawless. Although Sandra Bullock is reportedly being considered to play the Amazon-born avenger for an upcoming film, stunt woman Jeannie Epper Kimack says she sees Lawless in the role. The 60-year-old stunt player admits Bullock has the “awesome beauty” needed to play Wonder Woman, but thinks the powerful Lawless is a much better fit. Regardless of who wins the role, Epper Kimack doesn’t expect to suit up and play a Wonder Woman double again – she says it’s “past her time.” However, she’d love to be a stunt coordinator so she could show the ropes to the new Wonder Women. Epper Kimack and her fellow stunt performers will have their day in the sun this Sunday (May. 20) at the World Stunt Awards in Los Angeles.
