MEET THE STEAMING PRIEST

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Wireless Flash) – What would you expect to find at a website called “SteamingPriest.com?” Don’t worry, it’s not kinky – it’s just the homepage of Father Jay Finelli, a Rhode Island Catholic priest who loves to build miniature locomotive steam engines. Father Finelli has been building the tiny trains for 11 years and has even started a group for other holy train buffs called “The Association for Steaming Clergy.” The priest says his hobby – which is known as “live steaming” – is perfect for clergy because it’s relaxing and helps you express yourself outside of work. However, Father Finelli’s hobby has caused some confusion for a few parishioners, like the one who asked him if “live steaming” was something you do to shellfish.
