RAPPER ‘PASTOR TROY’S’ LYRICS INSPIRED BY CHURCH

ATLANTA (Wireless Flash) – Some people go to church for inspiration of the heavenly kind – but not one Atlanta rapper. Up-and-coming rapper Micah LeVar Troy, who goes by the name “Pastor Troy,” says church is where he thinks up most of his lyrics – even though he’s supposed to be listening to the minister, his father. The 23-year-old rapper took his name in honor of his father Alfred Troy – a minister for Light of Life Ministries. However, he admits that when his father is preaching to the congregation, that’s when he gets divine inspiration for new song lyrics. His dad may not want to hear that but Troy says he’s okay with it because everyone relates to God in their own way. Troy’s new album Pastor Troy: Face Off goes on sale today.
