BUSH PARTYING PALES TO PRESIDENTIAL PREDECESSORS

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Jenna Bush’s booze-related college antics may raise some eyebrows – but her party prowess pales in comparison to past presidential kids. Presidential historian Carl Anthony calls Jenna’s underage drinking attempts “routine behavior” and says future historians are likely to consider them “merely a footnote.” Anthony – author of the book America’s First Families (Touchstone) – says there have been much wilder presidential kids, including Chester Arthur’s son Alan, who was once caught skinny- dipping with the Prince of Siam in a White House fountain. But the queen of presidential party animals has to be Teddy Roosevelt’s daughter Alice, who smoked cigarettes in public, played the ponies and once jumped into a swimming pool in her evening gown.
