THE REAL FAMILY FEUD: DOMAIN NAMES

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (Wireless Flash) – In the future, Family Feud won’t be a game show, it will be an everyday occurrence on the internet. According to internet expert Robert Wiles, personal domain names are the biggest growth market on the internet and most common family names like Smith or Lee are already taken. Registering a personal domain name may not seem a priority now, but Wiles predicts within 50 years, personal web pages will be valuable heirlooms passed down from generation to generation. The domain name demand may not lead to modern-day Hatfield and McCoy-like battles, but Wiles has already experienced domestic problems because of his domain. He registered the domain “Wiles.com” a few years back and says his brother is still sore that he had to settle for “Wiles.org”
