GUINNESS STILL SEARCHING FOR OLDEST LIVING PERSON

LONDON (Wireless Flash) – The recent death of the world’s oldest person has left Guinness records officials searching for a modern-day Methuselah. Ever since 115-year-old Frenchwoman Marie Bremont passed away last week, Guinness has been flooded with new claims from old folks wanting to be designated the world’s “Oldest Living Person.” Researcher Louise Whetter says the best prospect so far is a Michigan woman named Maude Farris Luse who claims to be 114. However, the record can’t be awarded until Guinness receives at least three documents verifying Maude’s birthday. Whetter says if Maude’s claim turns out to be false, the new record will probably go to Amy Isabelle Hulmes, a British woman confirmed to be four months shy of her 114th birthday.
