‘SEXIEST GEEKS ALIVE’ REVEAL TRICKS OF THE TRADE

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) – What does it take to become the Sexiest Geek In America? How about a pair of adhesive-taped horn-rims, a laptop and a dream. That’s according to San Francisco-based publicist Steven Phenix, who is the founder of the annual “Sexiest Geek Alive Contest.” This years’ competition is right around the corner and the eight dweeby finalists are busy preparing their bods and brains for the final geek- off. One female contestant is having a special corset made out of circuit boards, while a dweeby dude has launched a website revealing his geeky personal quirks – including hiding computer “centerfolds” under his mattress. The geek chic competitors will face off next Wednesday in San Jose with a Q&A, a talent contest and a geek fashion show.
