COMMUNICATION COLLAR DOESNT THRILL ANIMAL ACTIVISTS
HARRISBURG, Ill. (Wireless Flash) Animal rights groups dont mind speaking for animals but theyre not willing to help when the animals want to speak for themselves. Thats the beef of a man from Harrisburg, Illinois, whos developing an electronic collar which allows animals to converse with humans. Inventor Robert Wayne Hamilton says he still needs $10 million to get his Dolittle Project off the ground and hes been pursuing funding from animal rights groups like PETA. So far, not one animal rights organization has expressed any interest in the collar communicator. Hamilton says hes shocked because he figures big corporations would be more likely to stop animal testing if the request came straight from the horses mouth. Hamilton hopes flicks like Dr. Dolittle 2 and Cats And Dogs will increase interest in his new device.
