60-YEAR-OLD BRIT LAWYER TURNS POP STAR
BLACKPOOL, England (Wireless Flash) Pop star Britney Spears may have some competition from a 60-year-old female British attorney. A family trial lawyer who calls herself Pesha will soon release her first album, Make a Difference, which she says was inspired by Queen Elizabeths Christmas address last year. Previously, Pesha only sang classical music for her Protestant church, but after hearing the Queens address, she decided to create a heart- wrenching pop CD with a modern approach. The title song, Contact, is about a family divorce seen through the eyes of a child and includes lyrics like: Days go by, he doesnt come/ Things are really bad/ Will he ever come to take me out/ Give me hugs and kisses. The grandmotherly Pesha says she will soon be sending the Queen a copy of her CD, and would like Her Majesty to know she is available for a command performance.
