‘JAWS’ STILL SNAPPING AFTER 25 YEARS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – Anyone who’s been to Universal Studios theme park has had an encounter with “Jaws,” that 25-foot animatronic shark from Steven Spielberg’s movie. The plastic shark was first introduced in 1976 and now the gadget is celebrating its 25th birthday. In honor of the anniversary, park officials are giving the shark a “facelift” by refurbishing his paint and his set of dentures. A spokesman says they’ll also be souping up the carnage by adding more victims and more fire to the body of water he lurks in.
