PASTE-ON JEWELRY TO REPLACE WEDDING GOWNS?

PASTE-ON JEWELRY TO REPLACE WEDDING GOWNS?

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Don’t be surprised if young brides soon trade their wedding gowns for paste-on jewelry. That’s the prediction of jewelry designer Tina Marie Stoker, who dresses celebrities by gluing rhinestones and opals directly to their bodies. Stoker’s jewel-crusting service costs as much as $5000 but she will soon be marketing kits of do-it-yourself rhinestones that will let any person turn themselves into a walking disco ball. The glue-on haute couture is waterproof and the shiny beads veer the eye away from those problem areas. Although you’re supposed to go nude under the rhinestones, Stoker admits some people are bummed the outfits aren’t as revealing as they sound. Stoker will show off her new rhinestone dresses this Friday (Jul. 20) in Los Angeles.
