LEVY CASE TO MAKE PARENTS PARANOID ABOUT KIDS’ INTERNSHIPS?

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) – The case of missing intern Chandra Levy could make some parents more paranoid about letting their child become an intern. According to business trend expert John Challenger, it’s likely the Levy case will make parents want to closely investigate a company before letting their kid intern there. He says parents may also require some sort of reference for the company before they give their approval. Challenger also warns students from accepting an internship that’s advertised on the internet, because the true nature of the job and all its duties may not be revealed. Interestingly, the website for Congressman Gary Condit’s office, where Levy interned, has a special section devoted to recruiting interns.
