‘BAYWATCH’ BOAT UP FOR BID

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Baywatch may be off the air but the show’s rescue boat is making waves on the auction block. One of the show’s former lifeguards is auctioning off the customized Sportfisher used for rescues on the former hit TV series. Michael Newman – the bald-headed lifeguard who did the stunts – admits the boat looks drab on the outside but it sleeps six and has a TV and VCR. Newman – a real-life lifeguard before Baywatch – says the boat was the site of many Baywatch cast parties and he figures cloning companies would love having easy access to Pam Anderson and Carmen Electra DNA samples. The boat is expected to haul in at least $150,000 at the auction on retrodaddy.com
