CHRIS TUCKER: ‘CALL ME ‘BLACKIE CHAN’
NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Working with Jackie Chan has done wonders for comedian Chris Tucker’s kung-fu skills. Tucker tells Maxim magazine that he now knows so many martial arts moves after filming Rush Hour 2 that he should be called “Blackie Chan.” It wasn’t easy. Rush Hour 2 was filmed in Asia and Tucker had no idea what the Chinese word for “Action!” was. So he assumed that the camera started rolling when everyone started “running around like crazy.” He also says Chan busted his chops in between scenes by making him eat a Chinese culinary delicacy known as “frog spit soup.” Rush Hour 2 opens Aug. 3.
