LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are denying rumors that they’re expecting a baby. The rumor got started in the German version of the magazine Marie Claire.

BURBANK, Calif. – Eh-ohhh: The Teletubbies are invading digital video territory with their first-ever DVD, to be released August 28. The Baby Animals DVD will feature behind-the-scenes interviews with the Teletubbies’ creators and a musical montage featuring the “famous” Teletubbyland rabbits.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Nothing will stop some folks from giving up their place in line – not even human waste. That’s the lesson learned by customers at a South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, who remained standing in line even after a fellow customer lost control of his bowels and defecated several times in the waiting room.

LONDON – Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, better known as Posh Spice, will soon release her first solo album titled Innocent Girl. Her new album makes her the last Spice Girl to go solo.

HONOLULU – Pat Sajak is trying his hand at acting with a stint in a Honolulu stage production of The Odd Couple. The game show host will play fussy Felix Unger, the role made famous by actor Jack Lemmon in the 1968 movie. The production will debut this September at the Hawaii Theatre.

SLIDELL, La. – Who says panty raids are passe? A Louisiana man who set up a surveillance camera in his home caught a 14-year-old boy on tape stealing bras and panties from his laundry room. Even stranger: The boy strapped the bras on over his T-shirt before escaping.

BURBANK, Calif. – Newscaster Walter Cronkite is taking on a new role: Benjamin Franklin. Cronkite will play the founding father in a new animated TV series, Liberty’s Kids, debuting next May on PBS.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – American servicemen stationed in Korea and Japan could find their careers in Jeopardy – literally. Starting tomorrow (Jul. 25), Alex Trebek will be visiting the troops to hold auditions for prospective contestants for the show.

VIENNA – Talk about a stiff penalty: An Austrian thief who stole a roll of toilet paper from a parked car has been sentenced to nine months in prison.

NEW YORK – MTV is pulling the plug on its artists – again. On August 9, the network will launch a new version of its popular Unplugged series, which showcases musicians playing acoustic versions of their hits.
