WILL COP ‘BEARCLAW BOYCOTT’ COST DUNKIN’ DONUTS DOUGH?

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. (Wireless Flash) – Cops in Philadelphia may be going through a doughnut withdrawal. Philadelphia’s Fraternal Order of Police has declared a “Bearclaw Boycott” of the Dunkin’ Donuts chain to support a food workers’ union which is accusing the company of unfair labor tactics. Spokesman Ken Schneider says most Philly cops support the doughnut boycott, but he admits it’s not clear just how much dough the doughnut chain will lose as cops look elsewhere for their crullers. A spokeswoman for Dunkin’ Donuts jokes that it presents a good opportunity to test the theory that police are obsessed with doughnuts.
