SEATTLE (Wireless Flash) A hoity-toity Seattle restaurant has come up with a bizarre way to boost the economy by raising its prices. The owners of the Palisade restaurant claim they can improve the U.S. economy by having customers spend their entire $300 tax refund checks at the eatery. For 300 bucks, tax-paying gourmets can treat themselves and three pals to Mushroom Crusted Beef Tenderloin served with Red Jacket Mashed Potatoes, Crab-Stuffed Won Tons and Plank Roasted Salmon. A spokeswoman says the megabucks meal will pump money back into circulation, boosting the economy slightly. Economist Robert Williams says its possible a gourmet meal could help folks feel psychically better about the economy and boost consumer confidence.
