IT’S OFFICIAL: AUSTRALIA IS 4 PERCENT LESS WEIRD THAN LAST YEAR

SYDNEY, Australia (Wireless Flash) – An annual index of weird behavior in Australia shows that the folks Down Under are in danger of having a “weirdness recession.” According to the barometer of the bizarre compiled by the Australian Centre for Mystery Investigations, Australia is 4 percent less weird than it was last year. The index is based on three factors: mysterious animal sightings, paranormal behavior and weird human antics. Spokesman Tim Bull – who’s known as “Tim The Yowie Man” – blames the big drop-off in weirdness on the Australian people, who he says, “...have simply become more normal.” He says the survey also shows the Aussie states with the most weird activity also have the highest beer consumption.
