LOS ANGELES – The distinctive voice of Seinfeld character “J. Peterman” will soon be popping up a mall near you. Actor John O’Hurley, who played the character, is becoming the voice of “Centerlinq,” an advertising kiosk system used in malls.

NEW YORK – Pamela Anderson’s lovers have finally faced off. The New York Post reports Pam’s ex-husband, Tommy Lee, approached her current lover, Kid Rock, at the MTV 20th anniversary party and actually thanked him. Lee said if Rock hadn’t hooked up with Pam, he would have never met his current flame, Prince’s ex-wife Mayte.

LOS ANGELES – Winona Ryder is cleaning out her closets for charity. The actress says she will auction some of the vintage Hollywood duds she’s collected over the years, including shoes worn by Claudette Colbert in It Happened One Night and one of Mae West’s gowns. Proceeds from the Ebay auction will go to charity.

LOS ANGELES – Legendary songbird Julie Andrews lost her singing voice following a 1997 throat surgery, but she says she still holds out hope she will regain her singing voice even though she describes it as sounding like “Ol’ Man River.”

YONKERS, N.Y. – Hotel customers may get burned by a hidden energy surcharge this summer. Consumer Reports says some hotels are charging guests up to $5 per day extra to offset rising electricity costs. The good news is you don’t have to pay it if the hotel doesn’t tell you about it up front.

UTRECHT, Netherlands – Giraffes at a Dutch zoo are getting a California- style salad bar. Keepers at the Amersfoort Zoo are hanging several baskets of vegetables in the tops of trees for the animals to graze.

KARLSKRONA, Sweden – U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan has been banned from visiting his Swedish in-laws – but it’s not because of a family feud. His family’s home is on an island that police have deemed “too small” to accommodate his security team and equipment.
