60-YEAR-OLD WOMAN HOPES TO SET RECORD SWIMMING LOCH NESS

LOCH NESS, Scotland (Wireless Flash) – The Loch Ness monster will be getting some company tomorrow when an American woman will attempt to become the oldest female to swim across Loch Ness. California native Carol Sing plans to celebrate her 60th birthday by swimming 24 miles shore to shore across the Scottish lake. Sing already holds the record for being the oldest woman to swim the English Channel, a stunt she pulled off in 1999. She says she isn’t afraid of the Loch Ness Monster popping its head up out of the water because she doesn’t believe it’s real. Sing says she’s training for the event by swimming five miles a day and by loading up on an energy drink called “Green Magma” which is made from dried barley grass.
