‘THE OTHERS’ CO-STAR NEVER OUTGREW FEAR OF DARK

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – One of the co-stars of the haunted house movie The Others is confessing a deep, dark secret: She’s never gotten over her fear of the dark. 49-year-old actress Fionnula Flanagan says to this day she doesn’t like to sleep in a room that’s entirely dark, and has to leave her bedroom curtains open a crack to let some light in. The fear stems from her childhood, when she would beg her parents to leave her bedroom door open a crack to let enough light in. The Others opens in theaters today (Aug. 10).
