JESSE JAMES’ GRAVE CONTROVERSY WON’T DIE

FULLERTON, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – Jesse James has been dead for almost 120 years, but the controversy over the location of his grave still hasn’t died. That’s according to Jesse’s great-grandson James Ross, who says his family has been bothered for years by folks who claim Jesse was really buried in Texas, not his home state of Missouri. Ross – who is a retired superior court judge – says scientific analysis of a body buried in Kearney, Missouri, reveals there’s a 99.7 percent chance it’s Jesse. Judge Ross says he wants the grave controversy to be laid to rest, but the rumors may start up again when American Outlaws – a new flick about Jesse James – opens this Friday (Aug. 17). The judge tells the true story of his outlaw grandfather’s life and death in his book, I Jesse James.
