ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Wireless Flash) – The city of Denver, Colorado, is the cat’s meow with pet owners – it’s the healthiest city for pets in America. According to a study of 50 cities by Ralston Purina’s Pet Institute, Denver wins the “Pet Healthiest” award because it has the lowest flea population in the country, good air quality, and high vet to pet ratio of 1 to 1,200. Coming in second is Minneapolis while third place goes to Columbus, Ohio.
