SHORT ACTORS NEEDED FOR HERVE VILLECHAIZE BIO-PIC

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Producers of an upcoming film about Fantasy Island star Herve Villechaize say they’re having a hard time finding a short actor to fill the role. A 4-foot-tall Herve-lookalike is needed for My Dinner With Herve, an upcoming “short” based on the life of the man famous for saying “De plane, de plane.” Casting director Monica Mikkelsen admits she’s getting very little response from actors interested in playing him because it’s a challenging role for any actor – dwarf or not. Mikkelsen says “Mini-me” actor Verne Troyer is too short for the role, but she is considering hiring 19-year-old Passions actor Josh Ryan Evans to play a young Villechaize.
