MANHATTAN DESIGNER BRINGS LEGWARMERS BACK
NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – What a feeling! A Manhattan designer hopes to bring back that Flashdance fashion gimmick from the 1980s – legwarmers. Designer Dorothy Lanier says she will introduce a line of legwarmers that update the scrunched-up look with thinner fabric and elongated knee- or thigh- high lengths. Lanier says the 21st-century legwarmers are an improvement because “At the end of the day, chicks don’t want their legs looking fat.” The legwarmers will be available in stores in a few weeks under the name “Longstockings by Dosty” – but you can also check them out on dosty.com.
