SPAM MUSEUM OPENS NEXT MONTH

AUSTIN, Minn. (Wireless Flash) – Celebrities like Jesse Ventura will be hamming it up next month at the grand opening of a museum dedicated to Spam. The Hormel company has created a new facility in Austin, Minnesota, to pay tribute to the canned luncheon meat and will open it September 15th with a star-packed party. TV moms Barbara Billingsly and Marion Ross will kick off the festivities by opening a huge can of Spam and Jesse Ventura will broadcast his weekly governors’ address from “K-SPAM,” a radio station in the Spam museum. Once the museum opens, Spam fans can check out a simulated Spam production line, a tribute to WWII soldiers who ate Spam and a map exhibit showing worldwide Spam consumption.
